About me

I have a first class BA in Psychodynamic Practice and a distinction MA in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Essex.

I have a passion for empowering young people to understand and take control of their own mental health. I have experience working as a therapist within a school and have since developed my own private practice.

I have an individual membership with the BACP and engage in regular training, supervision and personal therapy of my own to maintain ethical quality practice.

About Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy is a talking therapy that involves processing your past experiences and linking them to how you experience your life today. The therapeutic process involves bringing unconscious feelings thoughts and patterns to the forefront and taking control of them.

My work often involves the use of art supplies and fidget toys as well as talking.

It can be emotionally taxing to undergo the processing of your emotions, which is why I aim to ensure that my sessions are comfortable, safe and respectful spaces where you are able express yourself without judgement.
